and never run out of Halloween movies!

Oct. 26, 2010 - Just in time to scare the pants off your friends and family this Halloween, cable splatters viewers with some gory 2010 Halloween premieres, but also digs up some favorite classics, just dripping with ghoulish fun. There are so many spook-tastic films premiering on cable TV's Movies On Demand (MOD) platform, that we couldn't list all of them here. Notably, premiering in October are three chilling new releases; "A Nightmare On Elm Street" (2010), "Predators" and "Splice." In addition to these new releases, most cable systems also have a great selection of classic horror movies this Halloween, including some of the most iconic scary film series ever to make your teeth chatter, such as the entire "A Nightmare On Elm Street" and "Predator" franchises.

Below are just a few of the themed titles that many viewers can find on cable this Halloween, along with their premiere dates on MOD and ratings. Titles will vary by system. October 2010 Halloween-themed Movies On Demand Premieres

"A Nightmare On Elm Street" - Now available. (Same day as DVD, weeks before Netflix and Redbox), R, Horror. Jackie Earle Haley. Freddy's back, in the update of Wes Craven's classic tales of the hideously disfigured dream-stalker and his prey.

"Predators"- Premieres October 19. (Same day as DVD, weeks before Netflix and Redbox), R, Action. Adrien Brody, Topher Grace. Adrien Brody stars as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they've been brought together on an alien planet; as prey.

"Splice" - Now available. (Same day as DVD, weeks before Netflix and Redbox), R, Horror. Adrien Brody, Sarah Polley. Two superstar genetic engineers create a strangely beautiful, amazing creature that exceeds their wildest dreams, but as she grows, her existence threatens to become their worst nightmare.
