Movies On Demand on Cable Schedule Update - February 2013

We are in the heart of awards season 2013 and awards are being bestowed on actors, directors, writers, cinematographers and craftspeople from their peers in Hollywood and beyond.  Movies On Demand (MOD) on cable presents some of the most nominated and winning titles across the entire spectrum of film, from major studio titles to indie favorites. All of the major releases below premiere on MOD the same day as DVD and are offered in both standard and high-definition*, along with many Indies. February 2013 Movies On Demand on cable major studio premieres:

MOD viewers can catch up on major studio titles they may have missed in the theaters or share them again at home. The big awards are coming up on Feb. 24 and the following nominated titles premiere on MOD during February: "Flight," "Skyfall," "Anna Karenina," "Argo" and "The Master."  "Argo" is already the winner of two Golden Globe Awards and the SAG award for best cast as well as the top honor by the Producers Guild. February 2013 Independent Movies & other Titles of Note* (just a selection)

Highlights of the February indie schedule include: Best Foreign Film nominee "War Witch," and Best Supporting Actress nominee Helen Hunt in "The Sessions."  Plus, "Celeste and Jesse Forever," starring Rashida Jones from Parks and Recreation and "A Late Quartet" featuring two of the greatest actors of our time, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Christopher Walken.  MOD viewers can see the critically acclaimed Sundance Film Festival winner "Robot & Frank" starring Frank Langella which had a limited theatrical run, and the off-beat family drama, "The Playroom." Long-awaited on MOD is "Bully," the highly-praised and timely documentary about bullying in U.S. schools.
