NHL Center Ice Provides Fans More than 1,000 Games, on 14 Channels, Along with Free Enhancements
NEW YORK, Oct. 4 – Hockey fans can celebrate the return to ice for the 2017-18 NHL® season with NHLÒ Center IceÒ on digital cable and telco systems starting October 4, 2017. The out-of-market subscription package, distributed nationally by iN DEMAND, is perfect for fans who live away from their favorite teams, for fantasy players, or those who don’t want to miss a minute of action from across the League.
With NHL Center Ice, digital cable customers can access up to 40 live out-of-market NHL games every week across 14 channels, including enhancements that enrich the viewing experience. Games are available for all of the regular season which runs from October 4, 2017 through April 7, 2018. Customers can order the package in four installments of $38.49 each or a total of $153.96 SRP*.
Among the U.S. cable MSOs and other providers offering the package distributed by iN DEMAND this year are: Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox Communications, Fios, Optimum, RCN, Frontier, as well as other video providers.
NHL Center Ice 2017-18 free package enhancements include:
MULTI-SCREEN MOSAIC: The popular rotating mosaic of multiple screens that shows all the live action games being played around the League, along with score, time clock and channel location, is back for another season. The multi-screen mosaic can be found on the “Game 14” channel of the system’s package lineup.
DUAL FEED TELECASTS: Whenever possible, iN DEMAND delivers both the home and visiting team broadcasts of the same game so that fans can choose which telecast and home-team announcers they want to watch.

FREE PREVIEW: Select systems around the country offer fans a week-long free preview of the package on digital cable, Where offered, the free preview will run from October 4 through 10. NOTE: Preview is not available on all systems.
