Movies On Demand on Cable Schedule Update – July 2013

July 2013 Movies On Demand on cable major studio premieres:

Viewers can take a break from the summer heat in July with entertaining finds from Movies On Demand (MOD) on cable.  James Franco won critical kudos for his turn as rapper and drug pusher in “Spring Breakers.” “42” is the inspiring story of how baseball great Jackie Robinson and Brooklyn Dodgers GM Branch Rickey attacked prejudice in society and the game of baseball.

Horror fans can hunker down with the gory remake of the 1981 Sam Raimi cult classic thriller “Evil Dead.” Plus, MOD viewers can check out Ryan Gosling as a Bangkok smuggler in “Only God Forgives” from Director Nicolas Winding Refn (“Drive”), which won the top prize in the 2013 Sydney Film Festival (on MOD same day as theaters). Some escapist fun comes from “Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor” and “G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” with Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis, and Adrianne Palicki.

All of the major releases below premiere on MOD the same day as DVD release or earlier and are offered in both standard and high-definition*, as are many indies. The industry’s website, www.rentmoviesondemand.com is an at-a-glance look at most premiere titles along with synopses, trailers and Rotten Tomatoes® scores. In addition to new premieres, a wealth of library titles is always playing on MOD.  Like us on Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/moviesondemand.
